Oklahoma's 2007 Ice Storm
This ice storm caused record breaking power outages--this happened three weeks ago and there are still people without power--ouch!
All bundled to go on a walk
We bundled up tayte and took her on a walk, and our neighbors down the steet had a sign on two mechanical lighted up christmas deer that said free please take. So we did. Danielle was so excited. She looked up at me and said,"this is a christmas miracle." Everynight she had to sleep with her blinds open so she could watch them.
Have you ever tried to talk a four year old out of something? It's almost impossible. Danielle decided she wanted to be a were wolf for halloween. I Have no idea why, but I tried everything to get her to change her mind. When I finally realized this wasn't going to happen I started to make up a plan of how I was going to make one. I think it turned out pretty cute though. She was Howling all through the school during the halloween parade. All the boys thought it was "totally sweet" and many of the girls were scared. We got a kick out of watching her trick or treat as a were wolf
