What a Week!!!!!!!

Okay so this week has been baddddd!!!!! For Christmas we spent most of our saved money on a dog! His name is Romeo. He is a 9 month havanese dog. I went and met him and totally loved him. We brought him home on Thursday and told the girls it was an early Christmas present. They were so happy and things couldn't be better. Then Friday morning Tayto was putting a blanket on romeo and He reached up and bit her face. ahhhhh!!! Romeo didn't have his Rabies shot so my doctor told me I had to quaratine him. I thought for sure that Tayte was going to have to go through the rabies treatment, but after talking to animal control and a vet I felt better. They said the chances were very slim and not to worry. We took the dog back and got our money back too!!! Merry Chirstmas kids. I felt like such a loser mom. I cried for a 1/2 hour.
Danielle has also decided she does not want to got to school anymore. It is the typical best friend telling a boy she likes him when she wasn't supposed to stuff, but boy I didn't remember having all the drama kids do now when i was in second grade. She has been so stressed about it that it is making her stomach hurt bad enough to make her throw up. It breaks my heart.

Then tonight I was in my kitchen and found a brown recluse spider. Yippee. it is our first one we have found in three years so I guess that is pretty good, but it has given us all the creepy crawlies.

Some funny things that have made me smile this week though are Taytes stories that she makes up to sound grown up. Her newest one is about Justin Beiber. Yes, she has Beiber Fever... She says that he saved her from a mean kid and turned her into a super hero. She is so great. I love her so much.
Tayte wanted to watch Bob the Builder but it was Sunday so I told her no. She started to freak out so I started to sing(in the tune of the bob the builder song) Can we spank her, yes we can!!!! and Danielle looks at me and says "uh, I think so" just like lofty does at the end. It cracked me up.
Well and Randy couldn't be happier that the whole dog thing didn't work. He is just so not an animal lover. After dropping the dog back off he sang and whistled the whole way home. He said it was the best Sabbath day he'd ever had.

Number 3 on its way!!!

I am due May 28th so I am just barely pregnant, but very excited. I am in my 7th week and really starting to feel pregnant now! If it is a girl Tayte wants to name it sister angie oma. I kindof like it.

I know these are old but.....

I am getting excited about blogging again and so I am going to pick up the pace, but I couldn't continue until I had a few pictures of LAST Christmas on here for me to remember. Anyways, New funny pictures are on there way.

New Funny Things

So, the other day Tayte got a pirate tatoo. Danielle came over and said,"cool tatoo. Can I touch it?" Tayte gave her a crusty look and said,"No, You can't ever touch my 'pirate parts'!!!!

Elder Bednar

So, last Sunday we had the opportunity to listen to Elder Bednar because he came to our Stake. It was way awesome! We got to ask questions and he would answer them. I must say my testimony was really strengthed. I showed Danielle a picture of who we were going to listen to and she said," oh, I like him. He is handsome. He reminds me of Freddy Jones." If anyone doesn't know who Freddy Jones is, he is the the blonde dude on Scooby Doo. It's ironic that she said that though because during his talk he kept saying things like,"lets split up gang." Just kidding.

Disneyland

What 4 days of disney does to a 2 year old

We went to Disneyland this winter and had a great time. I will put more pictures up but this has got to be the funniest by far....p.s. Did you notice the little 11 mo old pushing her stroller away?

Reflections...beauty is

Danielle did a painting for reflections of a sunset and a tree. It was really pretty and I thought it was great but I didn't want her to be disappointed if she didn't win so I told her that I entered reflections every year and never won. Well.... needless to say... she won 1st place in the k-3 division at her school and then went on to win 1st place in k-3 in the whole district. Right now her picture is being judged for state...so we will keep you posted.

Wide Load

Danielle has been telling me I'm fat for awhile now. When I ask if randy is fat she says, no, just his head! So At least Im not a fathead. At first it didn't bother me much but then it was like OK OK, I know... Im fat... maybe you don't need to tell me that anymore. So I told her not to tell me I'm fat. So a week later, she was squeezing through a small space and I was going to follow her. She said,"mom, I don't think you are going to fit because you are too....(pause)....WIDE!!!" Well she didn't use the word FAT!!!

Pass a long card

So Randy and Danielle were at the church and Danielle picked up a pass a long card. She asked randy if she could have one. He said yes and she said okay because I want to send it to God. I will write on the back,"I love you God."

Crazy Tayto

Every once in awhile when things are especially quite, such as in Sacrament meeting, Tayte likes to yell,"Hey!!!" I think she nearly scared the kids to death that were sitting in front of us!!! Needless to say, Tayte spends a lot of time NOT in the chapel.

You're a Maniac Maniac

I cleaned the garage and found my old cabbage patch kids. They were actually in pretty good shape. Tayte likes them but Danielle told me she does NOT. I asked her why and she said, "because they look like maniacs..." I didn't even know she knew what a maniac was. Then she turned to me and said,"Mom, sometimes you look like a maniac!!!" She's right. Sometimes I do!

The Birthday Planner

Danielle likes to...plan. She is always planning for the future. In fact, she has already planned her birthday parties through the age of 11. She has listed many things, like a Science party, a Fairy party, a Hannah Montanna party, a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer party, and others. But our favorite one is her 11-year-old party. She said to me yesterday, "Dad, guess what I want to do for my llth birthday party? A Joseph Smith party." I was taken back, but played along. My response, "OK! What kind of games would you like to play?" She said, "Help Joseph Find God, and Pin the Arms on Joseph Smith." Oh, Danielle, she is the BEST!

We told Danielle's Nana about the party idea and she recommended we make a Golden Plates birthday cake. When Joni told Danielle about the cake idea, Danielle pumped her fists in the air and said, "YES! I can't wait for my Golden Plates cake."

So I was laying by Danielle last night and she says to me, "mom what does a porcupine look like inside?" I said I didn't really know. Then she said,"I think we should break one open and see!!!" I was like wait a second... do you mean pinecone. She said yes and we laughed so hard. I am really glad she doesn't really want to break open a porkupine.

This is was the first day of school. I am a little late on that one!!!!

New Funny Danielle things!!!

So I listen to a lot of talk radio!!! so.....My mom was reading scriptures with Danielle before bed and related the story of the fiery serpants. My mom then said, "this story means you have to follow what God says, no matter what." Danielle agreed and then said, "yeah and John McCain!!!"

Danielle has a girl in her class that sits at her table that has severe autism. We have had to talk about why she acts the way she does and that we need to be understanding. One morning the teacher aide was trying to get this particular girl to sit and color her paper. Danielle sighed, tapped the aide on the leg and said, "I don't think she is going to do it; she has "optimism".

Tayte had found some tampons on the floor and Danielle took them away. I heard Tayte screaming and said,"Danielle, what did you take from Tayte?" She answered,"Those cigarette things."

She is so much fun!!

Trying to get Danielle to smile naturally for her school picture was hilarious. It turned out more like a growl.

Bearded Dragon

This is Danielle's Bearded Dragon named "heart" or as I call him, "mi Corazon." He is a great pet. Very easy to take care of. Soon he will be big enough for a leash. No, seriously, they make lizard leashes and I am way excited to get it.

Halloween

So, Halloween was way great. Danielle was Ariel and Tayte was a lobster. Tayte was waving to all the cars as they drove by. Danielle's favorite part was handing out the candy to the kids that were coming by. Kids are great.
